  2. Hi Suresh,

It is good to know you are interested to learn OBIEE. If you are starting to learn very newly I would suggest you to start from OBIEE 10g. because It is the older version, easily understandable and installation also very simple. So conceptually to learn very quick, start from OBIEE 10g and then go to OBIEE 11g.

    Prerequisites for 10g:

    Processor: 1GHz
    RAM : Min. 3GB
    HD Space : Min. 10GB

Make sure that you are having enough hard disk, temporary and swap spaces to install DB and OBIEE.

    Prerequisites for OBIEE 11g:

    Processor: 1GHz
RAM : Min. 4GB (3GB would work but the system might be slow)
    HD Space : Min. 20GB

If you are going to install OBIEE 11g, you have to install database first. comparably OBIEE 11g will be taking more space than OBIEE 10g.

Hope it helps you to start with OBIEE. All the best!

    Best Regards,
    Bose
